Quality Guarantee / Refund Policy

Version v1

This policy is incorporated by reference into the VORDARY Terms of Service.

The core principle

You should never be forced to pay for a photo that does not meet VORDARY's required quality standard. If a photo fails, you are entitled to a resolution.

At the same time, VORDARY's resolution model is photo-level, not order-level. If most of your order is delivered successfully and only one or two photos need resolution, you keep your successful photos — VORDARY does not cancel or refund your entire order for an issue affecting only part of it. For example, on a 50-photo order, a typical outcome might read: 47 Approved · 2 Replaced · 1 Refunded. Your 47 successfully delivered photos remain valid and yours to use.

How the Quality Guarantee works

1. Your photo is processed. 2. It goes through VORDARY's quality-control process. 3. If it does not meet the required quality standard, VORDARY provides one additional processing attempt, free of charge, for that specific photo — this may involve reprocessing the same image, a different suitable processing method, or a replacement source image where appropriate. 4. That additional attempt goes through quality control again. 5. If the photo still does not meet the required standard, you become eligible for a resolution — you are not required to undergo further processing attempts before this eligibility applies.

Recognized reasons a photo may not meet the standard

Source quality insufficient — the uploaded photo does not contain enough usable detail for reliable enhancement.

Architecture-preservation risk — the enhancement would risk misrepresenting the property's real architecture, dimensions, or fixed structure.

Repeated generation failure — processing did not produce an acceptable result.

Below VORDARY quality standard — the output does not meet VORDARY's own defined quality bar.

Cannot improve safely — a further attempt is judged more likely to introduce a new problem than to fix the existing one.

Your resolution options once eligible

An applicable partial cash refund — specific to that photo's own deterministic share of your order's total price. Where a proportional per-photo cash refund applies, the refundable share is calculated using your order's captured package price and your package's included maximum photo capacity at the time of purchase (for example, Essential's $39 price and its up-to-10-photo capacity) — not the number of photos you actually chose to submit. This allocation is fixed and never invented after the fact, and multiple partial resolutions on the same order can never together exceed what you actually paid.

VORDARY Credit — usable toward a future order, entirely optional and only if you voluntarily prefer it. VORDARY Credit is never substituted for an eligible cash refund without your agreement — you decide.

Unused package capacity vs. a submitted photo VORDARY cannot deliver

VORDARY's packages state a maximum photo capacity (for example, “Up to 10 Photos”) — you may choose to submit fewer photos than that maximum, and your package price stays the same either way. These two situations are different, and are handled differently:

A. Unused capacity. You voluntarily submitted fewer photos than your package's maximum. The slots you did not use were never submitted, so VORDARY never attempted to process them — they are not eligible for any refund, credit, or resolution under this policy. Unused capacity has no cash value, is not refundable, and does not roll over.

B. A submitted photo VORDARY cannot deliver. You did submit a photo, and it does not meet VORDARY's required quality standard even after the additional processing attempt described above. This photo may qualify for the Quality Guarantee resolution described above, exactly as normal.

How a cash refund is actually processed today

VORDARY's operator issues the refund directly through our payment processor's own systems, then records that same refund internally so our records stay reconciled and auditable. The refunded amount is exactly the affected photo's own deterministic share of your order — never more than your order's captured total.

Settlement timing after a refund is issued is controlled by your card issuer or bank, not VORDARY, and typically takes some number of business days — VORDARY cannot guarantee or control that timing.

What this policy does not promise

Unlimited or repeated processing attempts beyond the one described above.

An automatic, instant, self-service refund inside the product today — refund resolution currently involves operator review, described honestly here.

A full-order refund because one photo needed resolution.

Nothing in this policy limits any refund or remedy you are entitled to under mandatory UAE consumer-protection law — where this policy is more generous than the legal minimum, the more generous terms here apply.

Revisions vs. the Quality Guarantee

A revision is part of your normal package allowance — adjustments to a delivered photo that met VORDARY's quality standard but isn't quite what you wanted, up to your package's included revision count. The Quality Guarantee above applies specifically when a photo does not meet VORDARY's own defined standard.
